Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil or butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips (optional)
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, honey (or maple syrup), melted coconut oil (or butter), and vanilla extract until well blended.
- In another bowl, mix the rolled oats, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and whole wheat flour.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in walnuts or chocolate chips if desired.
